Pokemon Emerald is third generation pokemon game which is full of adventure, and new pokemon to catch for you in all new Hoen Region. There are 202 pokemons and additional 184 pokemon after you complete you pokedex.
Your adventure begins at Little root town when Professor Brich gives you your very own first pokemon i.e. trecko, mudkip & torchic. Choose one of the pokemon and go all the way through hoen region catching pokemon , fighting trainers and earning gym badges. After you travel through hoen region and earn all 8 gym badges you will be able to challenge the elite four and become the champion. Once you become the champion new paths and adventure awaits you. The Battle Frontier where strongest trainers from all over the world gather, will be unlocked. You will also be able to catch Lati@s. Some pretty new and rare pokemon are added in this version . Some of them are Rayquaza , Kygore, Grodoun, Registeel , Regirock, Regiice. And new features in this game includes two criminal gangs viz. Team Aqua and Team Magma as well as underwater extras using 'HM Dive' which is only available in 3rd generation games.
